    SECTION 1 - ABOUT ME

What is your current high school?
    Please include the area code.
What is the name of your Big Brother or Big Sister?

    SECTION 2 - WRITTEN QUESTIONS

Please share your post-secondary education plans and steps you are currently taking to prepare for this opportunity. Then, include how you came to decide these plans and what impact your relationship with your Big(s) had on your life, your ability to graduate from high school, and influenced what you're pursuing after high school.

Finally, Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization whose mission is to positively impact the lives of young people in our community through mentoring. We do this by engaging volunteers to serve as mentors. As community service and championing volunteerism is central to what we do: What is your commitment to volunteerism? How do you already or how could you impact your community positively through volunteerism?

This is an open question that accommodates those with some volunteer experience – or those with none at all. If you need ideas on what to share, you can offer past experiences in which you volunteered to impact your community positively, BUT you can also share ideas or examples on how volunteering can improve your community now - or you can share plans you have to impact the lives of others/your community as you begin your post high school education.
