Join us at the Floyd County Cultural Arts Center for an enriching afternoon of interactive tours and crafts!
Matches will tour "Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage: Men and Women of the Underground Railroad," celebrating the contributions of those whose courageous acts on both sides of the Ohio River helped overthrow the institution of slavery. We'll also experience "Remembered: The Life of Lucy Higgs Nichols," learning about her life as a slave, nurse in the Civil War, and her post-war freedom living in Southern Indiana.
Tours will be followed by creating a craft relevant to the exhibits.
