Creating your own Facebook Fundraiser is super easy!

  1. Create your fundraiser through OneCause so all donations count toward your For Kids’ Sake campaign.

  2. Log in to the OneCause platform.

  3. Click your name (top right) → Manage My Page.

  4. Select Create a Facebook Fundraiser from the left menu.

  5. Customize your description using our toolkit script (or your own story!)

  6. Name it: “[Your Name]’s Fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana.”

  7. Click Save.

  8. Find your fundraiser on Facebook and make any final edits there.

  9. Upload the toolkit Facebook Fundraiser banner to boost visibility.

  • For Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana's annual peer-to-peer FUN-draising campaign. It is an easy way for individuals, groups, and companies to raise money to support our one-to-one mentorship matches. Individuals can be a fundraiser, host their own For Kids' Sake Bowl, or host another type of event (trivia and axe-throwing are two examples).

    Some supporters choose to raise money via their For Kids' Sake page, Facebook, or door-to-door fundraising. Some people get a small group of friends together to go bowling. Affinity groups have hosted their own fundraising challenge, or if you are a company interested in doing a fundraising challenge for employee engagement, it is a great opportunity for team building — all for a great cause!

    It takes a small amount of effort, yet it raises vital money for the success of our services. This is an easy way for you to make an impact on our community! 

  • Anytime you want, really! The For Kids’ Sake campaign supporting our 2026 Fiscal Year ends June 30, 2026.

  • No! Anyone, anywhere can give online to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana.
